Delete your account

Effective: 20 October 2026

You can ask us to delete your Siridhaniya buyer account and the personal data linked to it at any time. This covers your account on the Siridhaniya Android app (com.siridhaniya) and on this website — it is the same account.

1. How to ask

  • Email contact@siridhaniya.com with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account or giving the mobile number you sign in with; or
  • contact Support in the app or on the website and ask for your account to be deleted.

To protect you, we confirm the request with the account holder (for example by a call or OTP to the registered mobile number) before deleting anything.

2. What happens next

  • We confirm that we have received your request within [TODO: e.g. 2 working days].
  • Orders still in progress are completed or cancelled first, and any outstanding dues must be settled.
  • The deletion is completed within [TODO: e.g. 30 days] of the request being confirmed. You can no longer sign in after that; signing up again later creates a new account.

3. What we delete

  • Your profile, business and shop details, map locations and shop contacts.
  • Verification documents and shop photos you uploaded.
  • Device and notification data, carts, wishlists and stock alerts.
  • Your Coins balance, which cannot be paid out.

4. What we keep

  • Invoices, credit notes, payment and accounting records, for the periods required by GST, income-tax and other applicable laws.
  • Records needed to settle dues, claims or disputes, or required by a lawful request from the authorities, until they are resolved.
  • Statistics that no longer identify you.

Please include your registered mobile number, the order number (if any) and the details of your complaint. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and work to resolve them within one month of receiving them, or sooner where the law requires — in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
